For American Youth, This summer blows: The teen unemployment rate is a an all time at 25.5%. The highest unemployment since the feds kept records back in 1948.
The Unemployment rate for adults over between 20 and 55 is at 9% while the jobless rate for those at age 55 and over is 7.5%.
No money for dating, buy a car let alone a bike or a skateboard, video games and most of all the job experience they need to survive the real world after high school and /or college which could have carry the very young people for the rest of their lives. So much for Hope and Change!
